Welcome to WiggleWaggleWorth.

Our job is to find the wiggle beneath the wild.

This is a place for rescue animals and the humans who refused to give up on them. For dogs who arrived as a small, furious hurricane and evolved into a reasonably calm weather system. For cats who spent six months under the bed before deciding, cautiously, that perhaps feet were acceptable. For the birds, the bunnies, the horses, the lizards, and the singular hedgehog whose story we are still not entirely sure how to categorise.

We believe in rehabilitation. We believe in patience. We believe, firmly and without reservation, that every animal deserves a couch of suitable fluffiness or suitably comfortable bedding as he or she deems fit.

What We Do

WiggleWaggleWorth collects and celebrates rehabilitation stories submitted by the people living them. Every week, our community nominates and votes one remarkable animal into the Hall of the WiggleWaggles — our highest honour, awarded to those who have shown extraordinary progress on their journey.

We also believe that positive reinforcement training deserves to be discussed with considerably more wit than it usually receives. Our Training Tips are written accordingly.

The Departments

WiggleWaggleWorth is organised into Departments, each dedicated to a different species of magnificent, chaotic, couch-deserving animal. We currently welcome the Manor of Mutts and the Chancery of Claws, with further Departments arriving in due course.

Membership

WiggleWaggleWorth is free to read. For those who wish to participate more fully — to vote, to comment, to contest, to forum, and to receive the full weekly newsletter — a paid membership is available for the entirely reasonable sum of $2 per month. In return, you receive our deepest gratitude and the knowledge that you are directly supporting animals who need it.

Who Runs This?

WiggleWaggleWorth is run by The Butler. The Butler does not know everything. The Butler is, however, taking notes.
